- Our entire staff is dedicated to making your child’s visit to our office pleasurable. We believe that if children can have fun while developing positive dental habits, they will be more likely to have good oral health for the rest of their lives. It is important for you to know that we are committed to creating a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where your child feels welcome and where you can have your questions answered.
- We recommend a child’s first dental exam and cleaning after the first baby tooth eruption. We will brush the teeth and apply fluoride around the teeth to prevent the cavity. When the children turn the age age of 3, they are generally mature enough to allow us to count their teeth and clean them with our “tickle toothbrush”, yet young enough where there is generally no decay concerns. That way they learn first hand that coming to the dentist is a lot of fun.
